Mô tả công việc

* Has expert knowledge in factory management and factory development
* Supports execution of vendor development activities for the category
* Develop and maintain strategic alliances with vendors
* Maintain vendor profiles including facilities tracking
* Collaborate with vendors to address and drive continuous improvement in production manufacturing process to enhance efficiency and leverage costing advantages
* Manages production tracking and status (including critical orders for RSC programs) for all factories in market
* Travel to vendor and factory locations to resolve production issues
* Gather on the ground market intelligence to ensure leading practice innovation in manufacturing is reflected in production to maintain industry competitiveness
* Builds effective strategic relationships with business partners and successfully leverages these relationships across varied functions with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, agencies and colleagues to drive the results for which this position is accountable
* Leverages analysis and experience to identify and prioritize new sourcing opportunities and creates resource plans to achieve goals and targets for department within global Category
* Timely escalates issues to Product Development category team
* Holds vendors accountable to performance agreements and determines when course corrections are necessary and aligns with Director and Category Lead on final decision.
* Prioritizes and leads the continuous improvement process for programs within his/her purview.
* Leverages strong influencing skills to define sourcing role and align objectives and targets with sourcing and business partners
* Executes the continuous improvement process for programs identified within his/her purview
* Responsible for developing the leadership and coaching skills of direct reports. Acts as a role model for employing technical and soft skills for the department
* Leads performance management from goal setting and development planning, through mid- and year-end performance reviews. Helps prioritize workload.
* Manages, trains & and coaches the team to be customer-focused, innovative, fast and team-oriented in their work
* Responsible for capability development, employee engagement and Succession planning within his/her team.
* Partners with category/department leaders to identify needs and plan development and skill building for sourcing talent
* Shares best in practices and key learning’s across functions, channels and geographies

1. Knowledge, skills & abilities:
* Proficient knowledge of manufacturing processes and innovative production management systems to influence vendor production efficiency
* Demonstrated ability to deal head-on with issues and challenging situations
* Ability to influence peers and business partners to achieve business results
* Ability to learn and become a subject matter expert quickly
* Ability to plan and successfully lead complex negotiations
* Ability to plan, prioritize and adapt to change while achieving and maintaining results for multiple projects
* Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities; can see a problem from multiple angles and provide viable, innovative options for resolution
* Be strategically agile. Have the ability to think on a broad and granular level
* Ability to assess talent and manage, motivate and develop international/regional direct reports
* Ability to effectively manage and plan resources to achieve goals and support unplanned work
* Excellent written and spoken English communication & presentation skills
2. Minimum educational level:
* Bachelor's degree in textile, merchandising, business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
* Minimum of 8 years work experience in factory management and factory development with at least 2 years in leading a team
3. Physical Requirements:
* Flexibility to travel to vendor and factory locations as required
