Embedded Software Engineer

• Requirement analysis / study & Documentation in line with change request

• Software implementation, coding and code review

• Unit test specification preparation, review and unit testing

• Integration of software changes to identified configuration management archive

• Integration test spec preparation, review and integration testing

• To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

• To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review

Requirements

- 4 years of experience building embedded applications
- Embedded software development: Embedded Linux, Peripheral device control, device drivers, hardware sequencing, safety systems monitoring, Object-Oriented
- Programming, and real-time data processing, experience integrating with peripheral I/O, working knowledge of protocols including USB, SPI, and UART; Languages: C/C++, Python ;
- Tools: JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Yocto and BitBake. Process: automated unit testing, regression testing.

DESIRED: Familiarity with Over-the-air deployment of firmware upgrades, Linux kernel driver or Yocto experience,
Cloud connectivity/IOT concepts and applications.
