About Your Role
As the IPPS Business Development Analyst, you are responsible for providing fact based recommendations to the business leaders and business development managers (BDM’s) with the objective to drive sustainable & profitable growth within In-Plant Printing Solutions (IPPS)
You are an expert in the Commercial ecosystem, gathering intelligence on the market trends, the competition, the fields of play, the consumer insights and the general macroeconomic trends.
Working closely with the rest of the business, you will organize and articulate the intelligence into actionable
initiatives, and support the IPPS Business Development team with actionable initiatives, identifying and evaluating market opportunities that convert into incremental sales and profitability improvement.
Within this role you will support the total IPPS Business development team in developing and utilizing statistical data to support decision making within the team
The role will primarily be focused on data related to customers and products
Whitespace and Pipeline analytics
Analyze customer purchasing trends to provide internal guidance and identify opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
Gain expertise in the commercial market, including trends including trends/insights, external market drivers, customer ecosystem.
Gather intel on the market. Create and own the process to capture intelligence within and outside the company.
Qualify & quantify opportunities. Recommend where to play to win based on facts.
Support the preparation of the Go To Market tools with the BDM’s, Marcomm & Creative team.
Utilize efficiency and predictive tools to provide fact-based recommendations for business success
Partner with Regional BDM’s as well as Global BDM’s that can bring actionable and deliverable data to drive new business and identify any leakage in current business,
Gather and analyze information to generate actionable insights
Monitor our external environment (e.g., market conditions, competitive pressures, regulatory landscape) and derive implications for the business
Build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization
Run ad hoc projects that are often data-intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisions.
Strong analytical skills with proven experience at analyzing complex data
Self-starter, takes initiative, and has an entrepreneurial spirit that is able to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to understand and create value; demonstrated track record developing and executing new business ventures
Bachelor’s degree required
2-3 years related business experience, emphasizing sales, business development desired
Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives
Advanced business and financial acumen needed
Experience in planning and forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration
Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite tools and function specific software.
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Tableau and/or other Business Intelligence tools
Apparel & Footwear industry relationships preferred
