COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEW GOLDEN SEA SHIPPING PTE.LTD, it’s also one of the international container agencies，which has a full-featured service network locally and strong overall power in VietNam.
Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, in order to adapt to the business development, branch office was set up in Haiphong in 2000, then representative office was set up in Hanoi in 2003. In addition, the company also set up branch office in Danang in 2020 and representative office in Quynhon in 2021.

Lịch sử hình thành
COSCO SHIPPING Lines was formed with the integrated container businesses of COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd. and China SHIPPING Container Lines CO., Ltd.. It commenced operation on 1st March 2016 with a registered capital of RMB23.664 billion. Its registered address is Hongkou District in Shanghai. The Company is mainly engaged in domestic and international container shipping services and related businesses. The Company is one of COSCO Shipping Group’s core business segments.
COSCO SHIPPING Lines is headquartered in Shanghai with 28 divisions. The Company established 9 domestic branches located in Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, South China, Hainan and Wuhan respectively, and 9 overseas branches in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, West Asia, South America, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Africa respectively. By the end of October 2025, COSCO SHIPPING Lines had a total of 273 corporate enterprises in China. The Company employs approximately 17,100 employees globally, including 5,487 overseas employees.
COSCO SHIPPING Lines owned and operated 444 container vessels with a total capacity of approximately 2.4 million TEUs (COSCO SHIPPING Lines and Orient Overseas Container Line owned and operated 578 container vessels with a total capacity of 3.5 million TEUs, leading the industry in terms of shipping capacity). The Company operates 414 international and domestic shipping routes, including 274 international routes (including international feeder services), 61 domestic routes, and 79 feeder routes along the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River. The Company’s fleet has called 652 ports located in 146 countries and regions worldwide.

TAO Weidong
Mr. Tao Weidong started his career in 1994.He served successively as Deputy Section Manager，Pricing Department of COSCON Business Division, Deputy Section Manager，Integrated-transportation Logistics Department of COSCON Marketing Division, Manager，Container Shipping Division and Agency Division of Cosfim Oy, Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of COSCON Shenzhen International Freight Co. Ltd, Deputy General Manager of COSCON America Trade Division, Deputy General Manager of COSCON South China Regional Center, General Manager of COSCON Shanghai Regional Center, General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Shanghai Office and COSCON China, Deputy Managing Director, CPC Committee member of COSCO SHIPPING Lines, General Manager of the operating management division of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited. Mr. TAO graduated from Shanghai Maritime College (currently known as Shanghai Maritime University), majoring in water transport management, and obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Shanghai Maritime University, and is a senior engineer.

XU Feipan
He started his career in 1997, and has held various positions including the deputy manager and manager of coastal operation department of Shanghai Panasia Shipping Co., Ltd., the deputy general manager of COSCO International Freight (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the deputy general manager and general manager of COSCO International Freight (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., the general manager of COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the party committee member of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd. and COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd., and the director and president of COSCO Shipping (North America) Co., Ltd., serving concurrently as the President of COSCO SHIPPING Lines (North America) Inc. Mr. Xu Feipan holds an MBA degree from Fudan University and is an economist.

WU Yu

Kenny YE
Mr. Kenny YE is currently the chief operating officer, a director of the office of chief executive officer, corporate and human resources department, corporate operation department, freight dispatching centre, fleet management department and global and regional management department of Orient Overseas Container Line Limited. Mr. Ye has been a director of Orient Overseas Container Line Limited since 2018 and a member of executive committee of Orient Overseas Container Line Limited since 2015. He had served as a director of Asia-Europe trade department, a director of Intra-Asia trade department and the chief executive officer of OOCL Logistics. Mr. Ye graduated from Lixin Accounting Institute (currently known as Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance) with a Diploma of Accounting, and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.

XIAO Junguang
Mr. Xiao Junguang started his career in 1994, and had held various positions including the finance department of COSCO Americas Inc./COSCO Americas Terminals Inc., the deputy general manager of the investor relations division of COSCO, the securities affairs representative of the COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd., the deputy general manager of the public relations department of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited. Mr. Xiao holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the Beijing Institute of Finance & Trade (now known as the Capital University of Economics and Business), and a Master’s degree in applied finance from Macquarie University and is an economist.
